Ray Maurer
Spiritual Director
I’m Ray Maurer, and I attended GNVDC Men’s Weekend #44 in the spring of 2009, where I sat at the table of Aaron. This lay movement has been a blessing, and I’m honored to support it. I’ve been a non-denominational pastor and married to my wife Katrina for 35 years. We live on a farm in Dansville, MI, and have four grown kids and two grandkids. After many years of located ministries where I was a pastor, and Katrina led worship in Illinois, Novi, Wixom, and Howell, we now enjoy worshiping with our family when we’re not at New Hope Church or helping out where needed. We also enjoy visiting our son Jeremiah, who serves as a pastor in Illinois. Seeing my retirement plan come together early has been a blessing as I use the MSW degree to help others as a therapist and Christian counselor. I also enjoy hunting, reading, being outdoors, building and fixing various things.
